What isn’t easy is asking the right questions and proper negotiations. Through the process there are other professionals that need to be hired and included to finalize the purchase of a home. Yes, we have relationships but it is ultimate up to the client to pick the vendor of their choice. Whether it’s an inspector or a title company, you’ll want a good realtor to understand their job and make sure they are doing it to the best of their ability.

  1. Getting Started:

Our first goal is to understand what it is you are trying to do. While it may seem obvious, it’s important to understand your motives so that we can reduce wasted time for all of us and find you the best home.

Our second goal is to understand where you want to be when it comes to costs. There is a difference between a home price and a monthly cost and so many variations in between. Again, the more we understand the less time is wasted. It also helps us on where we should be negotiating.

Last goal for getting started is… finding the home, obviously! Unless you already found it on Zillow :) Otherwise, we run through our database, build your search criteria, and together pick and visit the homes that make the most sense.

2. Found a home. Now what?

That’s when our agent really begin our work for you. The current housing market is continuously changing. On top of that, there are so many local factors to consider when putting in an offer. Our agents must understand you, the listing agent and the seller’s tolerance levels to avoid losing the deal. There are many ways to negotiate then just offering a lower number and that is why it’s important to have a great partnership.

3. Offer accepted! What’s next?

For most people, this is where the hard part comes! Whether it having to wait to move in your new beautiful home or just worrying about the unknowns from events like the inspection. This really when having a good agent matters. An agent that will respond and answer all your questions. Our agents will be a call or text away during this whole process.

During this process, you will be contacted by multiple people with multiple action items that may sometimes become confusing but are important to be done. Just like most contracts, there are timelines to meet.

After the listing is live, our agent will begin the process of receiving offers and negotiation work. We will keep you envolved in each step while sharing our knowledge and advice. Selling a home requires trust and honesty which you will always receive from us.
